A Brown Company, Inc. was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on December 21, 1966. The company has generally focused on business interests in Mindanao, although both the real estate and power segments have investments in other regions.

ABCI is engaged in the business of real estate development located in Cagayan de Oro City; Initao, Misamis Oriental; Cainta, Rizal; Valencia City, Bukidnon; and Butuan City, Agusan del Norte.

In recent years, the company has diversified its business interest toward power generation, public utilities, and agribusiness in the form of palm oil—industries that are seen to provide steady, recurring income.
